Charles and Lon discussed the ways in which treatment options for families have evolved over the past decade. With briefer treatment stays and increased desire to find family systems focused support in the home environment, PRN’s philosophy and practice of providing consultation and case management services in the home and community has gained increased popularity as a desirable option for families who hope to stay together rather than pursuing residential treatment. PRN also provides reunification services for families who are transitioning their child home after a residential placement, wilderness therapy program, or other out-of-home treatment.
