Day Treatment has been a long-term goal at PRN for Families. We are thrilled to introduce our team, paving the way for this new and exciting school! Each team member proudly upholds our mission of creating and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment where every child and family is empowered to develop the skills needed to thrive in the least restrictive setting. Our team is committed to fostering academic success and social-emotional growth for all students.

Kayla Newman, Program Manager

With over 10 years of experience as an educator, I specialize in working within special education settings, where my passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments has been at the heart of my career. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse students, helping them unlock their full potential through tailored educational approaches and a commitment to their individual growth. Born and raised in Colorado, I take pride in my deep roots in this vibrant community, and I strive to bring the same sense of connection and dedication to my work. Outside of the classroom, I’m an avid lover of musicals, a passionate crocheter, and a dedicated reader, always seeking new ways to balance creativity, relaxation, and lifelong learning. I am driven by the belief that every student deserves a chance to succeed and thrive, and I approach each day with the goal of making a positive, lasting impact on those I teach.

I’ve always been passionate about supporting students in their learning and helping them grow into someone they can rely on. My goal is to be the safe, supportive person for students that I wish I had when I was in school. In the future, I aspire to become a mental health counselor, continuing to support individuals in meaningful ways. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and exploring the outdoors with my two dogs, Apollo and Athena.
