PRN for Families Presents at the Fusion Education Group’s
EPIC! Leadership Conference

PRN for Families was honored to be invited guest speakers at the 2017 Fusion Education Group’s EPIC! Leadership conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan in October.

With many years of experience collaborating together in support of families and students, Fusion Academy and PRN for Families share a common philosophy of creating customized and individualized programming to best meet the unique needs of every client and family.

PRN’s Founder and Director, Charles Elias, and Director of Outreach and Marketing, Mary Jo DeGrandi, co-presented on the topic of Family Preservation: Creating a Community of Care. Originally designed to prevent families from having to relinquish their children to the foster care system, Family Preservation (also known as the Homebuilders Model) is a well-established and outcome-driven model of care that focuses on creating a communicative and collaborative team of both professionals and natural supports within the family’s own community in order to best meet their educational, social-emotional, physical, and mental health needs. PRN and Fusion Academy have shared in creating such support networks for families since 2010, when Charles worked with the very first Fusion Academy campus staff in Solana Beach, California. Since then, PRN and Fusion Academy have worked together on behalf of families in northern and southern California, in New York, and New Jersey.

PRN for Families looks forward to our continued collaboration with Fusion Academy! Stay tuned as Charles will be co-presenting with Fusion’s Vice President of Education, Grace Colman Losada, Ed.D., at the NATSAP Annual Conference in January 2018!
