PRN’s Admissions Director, Alyson Daniel, LCSW, will be co-presenting with Daryn Darr Reiner, BA, an independent educational consultant and associate member of IECA, who works with the consulting group Dean Doering & Associates (

Their presentation, entitled, “Best Practices When Working with Transgender Youth in Residential Treatment” is the result of an ongoing dialogue between Alyson and Daryn on the complicated issues of providing safe, integrated and effective treatment options for this underserved and misunderstood population. Their focus will be on examination of best practices for working with transgender youth in the arenas of social integration, logistical integration, and medical transitional support.
